Return of the programmer. Self-employed this time!
I'm saying goodbye to the mobile development industry as I'm returning to be a webprogrammer. But not for another employer, oh no. Self-employment for the win!
Steape
Most of all, it was a short experience at Steape. I loved the change, complete turn-over from webdevelopment to mobile development. Although the webviews, webservices and XML were very familiar, it was quite the change none the less. My time at the amsterdam-based company was awesome. I was especially fond of the challenges in the areas that were not quite my expertise; mainly in the form of meetings and trainings.
Opportunity
As welcome as the change was, it lasted for a mere three months as a great opportunity arose. That opportunity came in the form of P-mex. The dutch webdevelopment company offered me to join them, but not just as a programmer; as an entrepeneur as well. Starting the 1st of december I will join P-mex as a web developer and a business partner. A programming partner. Compagnon el Programmico. Or something. Yeah, I totally speak french/spanish.
Although I'm joining P-mex, nothing else changes. I still run ByteMods. I still co-run BTM-Net. I still own Taart.org, in which I am still dissapoint.
P-mex
P-mex, based in the Netherlands, started back in 2005. P-mex is known for their service as well as their desire for the best technologies available, thus being always on top of all new developments. Innovation and creativity stood between them and the competition for the last five years. And I'll be there to continue the tradition.
Huzzah!
